JUST ARRIVED

These traditional Andean watanas, or ties, were used to show love to family members. They were tied into a daughter’s hair, draped onto brides and grooms outfits, etc… Each bead is added with a prayer and is connected to the stars.

These ties are woven by the Chahuaytire Weavers at the Center for Traditional Textiles in Peru.

Approximately 50-55 inches in length, 1″ wide
