Rainbow Symphony
The people of the Andes are represented by a rainbow flag. It’s what the Inka brought to all who joined the Tawantinsuyu. Here we have the Pairing of Rainbows: Chacana, two-panel cloth, Chumpi stone family.
The cloths are handwoven and naturally dyed. The stones, individually crafted by a
master carver in Cusco. A beaded tie brings this set together, crosses boundaries, and unites forms.
Any layout of the Kuichi Chumpi upon this woven pallette will be a lively expression of the Andean Art of cloth and stone.
